Property - Aspley: A Two-Story Transformation with Expert Preparation and Painting
Our recent project in Aspley showcases the power of expert preparation and painting techniques in transforming a two-story property. With careful attention to detail and a focus on quality, we revitalized the interior, creating a fresh and inviting living space.
On the first floor, we began by meticulously preparing the walls, filling in cracks and cavities to create a smooth and even surface. We then sanded the wood and painted it white to match the walls, ensuring a cohesive and polished appearance throughout the floor.
The second floor presented a greater challenge, with numerous holes and cracks that required repair. Additionally, all the rooms were painted in dark colors, calling for a more dramatic transformation. Our team addressed the holes and cracks by filling and smoothing the surfaces, and we sanded the wood to ensure a flawless finish.
For the walls, we applied two coats of white Leyland paint, a high-quality choice that provided excellent coverage and durability. The fresh white color instantly brightened the space, giving the rooms a more spacious and welcoming feel.
We completed the project by painting the woodwork on the second floor with two layers of Dulux white wood paint. This premium product ensured a lasting finish and protection for the surfaces, while the crisp white color perfectly complemented the newly painted walls.
